i arrived early before the rush, and this was such a relaxing hike. it was beautiful. the park is dictating directionality on loop trails to try to help with social distancing, so heed signage.

This is very nice trail, Very beautiful. Due to COVID-19 the entry of the trail is different than the map. The trail is all one way, so you will not meet other people. But you will use the Kirkwood entice for this trial(just follow the sign). Please don't use the entry on the map

The map needs updating here. There’s a fancy new parking lot and as a result some of the trails have been closed or rerouted. But it’s still a fantastic place to go for short or longer hikes alike.

Amazing view along Ridge Trail and Goat Rock. The Falls were a trickle in late October. Castle Rock and other rich formations were neat. Lots of diverse trees.

First to Review

State Park Docents are often present on Weekends. Pictures show some key points. Fire ant hill, woodpecker tree, castle rock with its tafoni, giant Douglas Fir trees, and oak forest.
