Wow, this was such an f’ed trail map I can’t even put it all into words. Nothing is marked well and we spent the first hour wondering around a hillside. Most of the pictures posted led you to believe there is WAY more shade than there actually is. It was like hiking on the surface of the sun. All 3 of us are seasoned hikers and I would rate this trail as hard. There are definitely some rocky and slippery areas that the moderate hiker would find pretty technical. We were training for a longer Yosemite hike...what a drag that the All Trails map sucked so badly. At the end, you walk down someone’s driveway and onto Bolinas Rd., which is a very steep and windy road that is not for pedestrians. There are plenty of beautiful hikes in this area...skip this one.
