Good length but not super exciting and the trail just ends at a dead end next to a barn with horses! So no major views. Beautiful trees and pretty quiet/peaceful towards the middle/end.

I agree with the comment below that it’s best to enter this trail on Sword Way. It was amazingly quiet given its location. If you head west you will eventually reach the fire trail running under the power lines. These are steep both upward and downward. I prefer up as they can be a little slippery. But you can avoid the fire road entirely and cobble together lots of great trails. A nice quick jaunt in an open space.

Mostly flat - little in the way of views. Mostly a trail for exercise. Good running trail.

North south section is single track. Opens up when you turn west. Watch out for bikers. Easy trail.

HikingGreat!

Best trailhead is off Sword Way, as the trails are very well maintained, are not very steep, have a lot of cool vegetation, and bridges and water. Look for a sign between the guard rails and at the lowest point on the street.

This trail isn't meant for hiking I feel. there is all kinds of poop on the way and filled with bikers. There is no decent picturesque view point or spot. Go there only if you are bored and want to walk 6 miles. This should definitely be in the easy category.

Not an actual trail, it’s technically part of a wildlife crossing so there’s no trespassing signs everywhere.

Nice, isolated for a single hiker. Went with my dog and ended up cutting up and finishing outside the canyon

RunningGreat!

Beautiful trail to for a good run, I love sunset runs on this trail. I’ve seen several bicycles on this path as well, must have proper tires for trail I presume. I must say I have encountered rattle snakes on hotter days so be mindful.

Running

I really enjoyed running this trail and there was almost no one on it on a Tuesday at 8am. That said, if you are on this trail when it's busier, it might not be as great if you run into bikers on the more narrow parts. It's a nice mix of terrain and shady/sunny parts. When I started the hike, it was completely foggy, but when I finished the sun was nice and bright, so it was almost like doing a new trail. Not too much elevation gain. Because I got there earlier, I wasn't entirely sure where to park as there weren't many cars around, but you do park where Alltrails directions takes you. I had continued down the road towards the right but had to turn around because there was no parking lot and you couldn't park on the street.
