abbreviated routing. Went when it was overcast/rainy and passed less than 15 people. It is a little technical when you're looking at the Observatory and the path gets very narrow.

Starts out at Brush Canyon then heads up towards Mount Baby Bell. Down the Charlie Turner to the Observatory then down to Fern Dell and the Trails Cafe. Awesome views of downtown and the Observatory and even the Hollywood sign....on a clear day. Which today was not. Keep in mind that this is not a loop but an out and back. But if you want to make it a loop...albeit a boring one...you can do what I did and walk down to Los Feliz and go right. Quick left on Western. Quick right on Franklin. And a right on Canyon Dr. back to your car. Point to point it's about 5 miles. Out and back 10. And the loop I mentioned about 8 miles.
