Calf Lake Trail is a 8.6 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Forks of Salmon, California that features a lake and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking and fishing and is best used from May until October.

Directions from Fort Jones: Travel west on County Hwy. 7F01 for approximately 6 miles to the intersection with a second County Hwy. which crosses Meamber Bridge and turns off to the south at Meamber School. Travel for a mile on this road, then head right when it branches. Continue south for about 3 miles for Forest Service Rd 43N21. Follow this road for about 6 miles to Shackleford Campground.
