How boring, its like a zoo

I wouldn’t follow my recording because I made the mistake of trying to loop not realizing I took a wrong turn. If you come up to the letters and go right back the way you came up you will be good. This is the difficult trail with 90% steep, narrow, uphill trailing. You do need hiking shoes.

Good hike, but crowds are a deterrent.

part of the trail loop still closed off as of 12/29. wearing trail runners is suggested, as I saw a lot of people slipping around the rocky areas.

Short, a little steep, and heavily used hiking path with excellent views of Los Angeles, Hollywood, and the San Fernando Valley. I enjoyed watching the commercial aircraft taking off from Burbank Airport.

I didn’t do the full loop outlined by this hike, but instead did it as an out and back to Mt Lee stopping at Wisdom tree on the return. This trail is short but challenging and a good workout. Maybe the ‘hard’ rating comes from the loop, because what I did I’d say was more moderate. The trail starts with a steep and steady incline that doesn’t taper off until you get to wisdom tree, and then runs the ridge to Mt Lee. Trail is narrow, super rocky, and dry with loose parts. Highly recommend you wear trail runners at the very least, tennis shoes will not give you the grip you need. It’s busy out there, this is not a trail to do to get away from the buzz and enjoy nature. Lots of unprepared people and so many ppl hiking with external speakers blasting their music (SO ANNOYING). Start early to get good parking.

Awesome, hot, sweaty, quick workout! Will definitely do again. Beautiful views at the top! Took me just about an hour to complete which includes a few of rest stops. Only passed a few groups of people, even on a Saturday afternoon! Take your time going back down, you could easily slip/roll an ankle on the loose dirt and jagged rocks.

2 of the most crowded peaks in Griffith, but assume spectacular views and some decent climbs. Definitely go early.

BRING A PENNNNN :] Such an incredible fun CHALLENGING hike. Lots of sun! Bring plenty of water. The incline was fucking AWESOMEEEE. Definitely worth the climb.

We went there with our 4-year-old son. He loved it. It was a hot day but a beautiful day! A must for everyone!

Popular, steep and scenic. A good LA bucket-list hike with two landmarks (Wisdom tree and Back of the Hollywood sign) en route.

Relatively short. Lots of incline at first but plateaus at the top. It’s rugged—coming down was hard because it was so sandy.

it is so much technical and get really hot after 8 am even it is at 70F. Be prepared for a rocky climbing trail. not great for beginners for sure. and don't push your poor dogs. it is though one.

Fun hike and a decent workout! Hiked to Burbank Peak first, then hiked up to Cahuenga Peak and down a little bit to get to the behind view of the Hollywood Sign. Great views of the Los Angeles valley.

If you enter the trail via Wonder Way it is by no means easy. I would call it moderate. It’s pretty steep and you gain some elevation. It’s a great local hike if you continue past the peak you can get to the Hollywood sign. Great views of LA, Hollywood and Burbank from the trail. Go later in the day for a beautiful sunset decent you won’t be disappointed.
