Went on a Sunday morning, it was a nice hiking trail because of the length and incline but there were too many flies. I believe it’s due to the fact that people DON’T clean up after their pet so there’s a bunch of poop on the trails. Despite there being bags provided at the beginning of the trail. Come on people, be considerate.

Great for a quick workout to get the heart and lungs going.

Stick to the path and don’t try to come down through the thin brush

The trail was empty between the hours of 1:30pm -5:30pm. Didn’t t see a single soul until I got towards the end; near the Nike launch pad. Also, great place for plein air artists!!!! Words of wisdom: just don’t stand in one place too long, because the bugs and bees WILL ATTACK! Overall: The trail was beautiful and offered so many vista points.

It was a pretty easy trail but i wanted something a bit longer and decided to make a right onto Mulholland after the trail had ended and i made a full circle. It was very nice. I did about 4.3 miles, would definitely suggest it!

Had a great 2 person MTB climb in short time and of course treated to fantastic views once again of the canyon from up on Mulholland. The hikers were very friendly and courteous, as were we on the bikes. We had a great ride down the hill. What a beautiful spot!!

This was a nice hike. Not much shade. Lots of bugs, especially in the shadiest places. Some of the trail is very narrow and overgrown. Lots of wildflowers. Some of the trail seems to be washed out and is a bit slippery.

Love this trail! One of my favorites in LA. A great workout and it's a nice wilderness hike! Be sure to follow your map though. The trail isn't marked very well.

Great trail but it’s very confusing. There are so many different paths but nothing is marked!!! I got so lost and my phone died. Thank god for another hiker who gave me a ride to my car.

Short and sweet single track.

Take the 2nd trail from the left (Hectic Trail) if you want 35 minutes of constant climb. Loved it. View of Catalina island awaits you at the end. I am hooked.
