The bugs are constant, plentiful, and annoying on this trail. Most of the trail until the loop is just wide enough for one person. Imagine having to share this with hikers going in opposite direction and dirt bikers too! Too hard to socially distance on this trail. But the bugs are the worst aspect of this trail. If you stop to take a break, they will swarm.

this is my go to quickie trail. From the trailhead to the top of Reseda. there are two nice benches for resting. You can choose to go further for a longer hike and great views. I suggest going to your left at the top and exploring the NIKE missile site.

Pretty wildflowers and views. The last fourth of the loop is overgrown so you have to just take the same trail back after coming back to the fire road. The flies were really bad.

Great hike, don’t worry about the other reviews saying it’s overgrown, it’s just where most people and bikes aren’t going. Perfectly gorgeous. Theres also a lookout at the top that isn’t included that is well worth it. Just another 1.5 miles total.

Heavily trafficked. A lot of mountain bikes which is fine by me but might deter others. Beautiful trail, I didn’t get through all of it because I’m on a time crunch. Lots of bunnies and birds.

the over all hike is great, the right loop is not marked at all. but beyond that the scenery and effort fo the hike is great.

we did this Trail and looped it in with another Trail in the same area there are like at least five different Trails not counting the little switchbacks that you can take be sure to bring some bug spray cuz there was still moisture in the ground and some tiny streams that attract bugs other than that it was a nice hike and some nice views from the top a moderate hike overall

Went on a Sunday morning, it was a nice hiking trail because of the length and incline but there were too many flies. I believe it’s due to the fact that people DON’T clean up after their pet so there’s a bunch of poop on the trails. Despite there being bags provided at the beginning of the trail. Come on people, be considerate.

Stick to the path and don’t try to come down through the thin brush
