One of my favorite hikes! A lot of technical trails, rocky, hiking shoes a must. I took this on up to Cahuenga Peak, then to the back of the Hollywood Sign. If you like hikes that'll keep you on your toes, you'll love this one.

Beautiful views! After hiking to the Wisdom Tree, we continued past Cahuenga Peak to get to the Hollywood sign. That section was challenging in parts, but worth the view!

NOT FOR BABIES/TODDLERS! We meant to take Innsdale Dr but ended up here (my fault). It has a very steep and narrow incline - super difficult babywearing a 2 yr old and 3 month old. I was also 3 months postpartum and it was a big workout for me - had to stop regularly on the way up. Still giving it 5 stars because it’s an intense workout and the view is great. We didn’t attempt to go over to the sign because of the kids, recommend Innsdale drive trailhead if you want to see the sign really well.

I love starting here for the Hollywood sign hike because of the steep start. Definitely worth it.

It’s a good workout trail, if it’s not too hot keep going to the Hollywood sign. Note: it can get quite crowded with loud people.

Great hike for exercise and views of downtown LA and the surrounding area! Once at the top you can take to an extra 0.8 miles across the mountain ridge to stand behind the Hollywood sign, this part is more challenging but definitely worth it!

If you enjoy crowds of people who have never hiked before heading uphill to take selfies with a flag, this is the hike for you. Great possibilities and a solid little workout, but the instagram models ruined this one.

I’m gonna give this 4 stars only because it was challenging. Definitely listen to everyone else that’s commented previously on this app. Wear some good hikers because if you’re coming from the West side it’s a steep rocky climb. This was extremely difficult for me since I haven’t hiked in almost a year. For a beginner this is not easy. Be prepared.I imagine approaching from the Los Feliz side is why this trail is labeled as easy. The view from the top is absolutely gorgeous and worth the climb.

Loved the rocky uphill! I wouldn't say it's "easy", maybe moderate and not toddler/baby friendly unless you plan on carrying him/her which would also make an awesome workout. I'd like to do this hike again at sunset to take a slow-shutter photo of the landscape, very nice views from the top. Parking is also not a problem. Overall 2 thumbs up!

Short trail but steep and rocky! AKA Wisdom Tree. There’s a spectacular view from the top, with a Tree and a Flag ( take pics) there is also notebooks to write in under the Tree. I don’t recommend kids. Dogs maybe but please pick up the poop!

This hike is very difficult with a steep incline and lots of rocks. Lots of people at the top so getting pictures might take some time.

Very rocky and steep. The distance is short but the terrain makes it difficult. Wear good hiking shoes, other shoes will slip.

great uphill battle. short and sweet hike but on the steep side, don't let the "easy grading fool you. the view from the top is spectacular with access to other trails to take you to the Hollywood sign.
