Stumbled across this trail while visiting King’s Canyon back at the end of January. A lot of the Park was closed due to snowy roads but we stumbled across this one and fit in one last hike before the end of the day. Easy 40 mins up to the peak and back down right at sunset. Easily made our day as we had our 2 yr old with us.

Definitely more snow then anticipated but it made this short hike more of a fun adventure. The top was beautiful.

One of the best views for such a short hike.

Quick and easy hike. Perfect short and simple trail to get an amazing view of the sunrise if you get up there early enough!

Nice views but heavy smoke from fires reduced visibility a lot

An easy trail with a great view. The actual trail was not displayed in my AllTrails map. Check the map displayed at the trail start. It shows the correct path.

I completed the trail yesterday, April 10. It is an easy hike, only one mile from the parking lot to the end of the trail. Its is not a proper peak but rather a semi dome with big boulders on top.
The views to the forest are better than the views from the overlook a few miles away along the highway. As of yesterday there was a few inches of snow but nothing bad. Make sure to check out the granite formations in the beginning of the trail.
I do not know why it said that the trail is on Springville when it actually is inside of the National Park
