The Brown Creek Trail runs alongside a creek in a shallow glen where the park's densest redwood forest grows. Isolated from the traffic noise of Drury Parkway and enclosed by the valley and the tree canopy, the glen almost feels like a huge indoor garden.

Did this as part of loop including Rhododendron and South Fork trails. Beautiful and QUIET, highly recommend going clockwise on this loop since the South Fork portion is steep. Elevation gain is much easier. When Rhododendron trail approaches South Fork a collapsed bridge over a creek awaits you but you can easily go down to the creek and back up.

Beautiful trail I did today as part of a loop. It's signed closed because of a bridge out but there is an easy, safe go around. Somehow I got turned around and did part of Rhody as well but it was in the dark. Good thing I always have a headlamp in my hydration pack... The park rates it as easy but the top is steep enough it gets a moderate from me...
