Easy trail for most hikers. Up on the way out, down on the way back. There were lots of people out, all had masks. Passed several cows on trail and one coyote.

I’ve modified this loop a couple ways, but have loved walking up to the peak via briones crest. Take a right downhill just below the peak. Turn right onto Seaborg, then back up briones crest to the parking lot. 8ish miles, varied scenery, great trails.

Lots of pretty views and wildflowers this time of year, as well as birds. More people out than I would have expected on a weekday. The trail is nice and wide, at least

The road there is very narrow. On the trail, it’s very wide and open. Starts shaded, then gets uncovered with really nice views. Enjoyed it!

I add some trails to this yo double the length and amp up the sweat, but otherwise a lovely trail. The views are so lovely. These trails are very local to me, but I’m not tired of them yet!

Fantastic hike in early spring, bright green grasses. There were a few poppy and just a few lupine beginning to bloom. Great light for photographs from about 3 o’clock until about five 530

Depending on your level of fitness, this is an easy hike! It’s a nice one just to get out in the wilderness and have a decent little workout. Got to see a few newts and we even got to watch a coyote hunting what we thought may have been gophers. Never seen that before, so that was very exciting! It also started to downpour halfway through the hike but we knew the rain was coming and had a great time regardless.

Excellent trail! Very well maintained. It’s a little steep in some areas, but most of the elevation gain is gradual and easy to maneuver. Lots of birds, some cattle, horses and sweeping views. Walk a little past the end of the AllTrails designated path to Tabletop to get a spectacular view of Mount Diablo and the valley below. Dog friendly. Can’t wait to go again!

Great trail with a lot of shadows, astonishing views including mt Diablo! Great for hiking with kids and dogs. A little bit steep sometimes, but overall balance of plain walk and uphills and downhills.
