Flat trail around a lake, perfect for running. However, there were lots of flies and other flying bugs which made it almost impossible to enjoy the run/walk. The faster I ran the more flies crashed into my face, I think I may have swallowed a few. Also bad smells on certain areas of the trail. Will not come back.

Perfect for getting into running shape. First portion is paved gravel, while the last portion is compacted dirt. The last portion gets sandy and dusty, well treaded shoes recommended for running. Last day in July started at 19:30. No mosquitos was nice. Moderately populated. Didn’t see any dogs or dog poop on the trail which is surprising considering all the dogs roaming Woodlake.

Nice trail. No trees so if it's hot, wear a hat. Many birds on the lake.
