Hiking

Added some mileage at the top past the concrete slabs for a more challenging hike. Moderate overall

Love this trail! Nice powerhike up, real calf burner, and super fun to run down. Saw only a couple people.

HikingGreat!

It’s stunning. Only thing is I forgot sunscreen and even though it only hit 80 this hike is in direct sunlight. Other than that it’s a steady climb all the way up. Can be challenging but worth it when you complete it.

Hiking

Not a lot of traffic very remote and secluded. Roads are clear and it’s a nice incline to the top. The scenery is very nice and clear looking at Mt Wilson.

This trial does not stop at 3miles once you get to the water tower or cement part there is a fork left of the trail which keeps going, not sure how far it takes you but I heard from other hikers on the trail it takes you up 17miles to running springs

HikingGreat!No shadeRocky

This was an interesting trail. There was no clear sign of where it ended and it’s definitely longer than it is described in the hiking info. I would rate it a hard hike but much of it is on a fire Road which does make it easier. I went four and a half miles up and often took the harder forks that I saw on the way which increased the difficulty. Definitely worth doing definitely worth going early there’s no shade until your way up there and you start to see pine trees.

I enjoyed the trail, good views for the location, the incline wasn't difficult but its a good workout, especially if you're going to run up the trail. I arrived at 630am there was 5 people I seen throughout the trail. Parking seems to be in a good neighborhood, that's a plus.

I would say it was a moderate hike rather than hard. Even wide path the entire trail.

I wouldn’t say it’s hard, just mainly incline. The path is clear. Only saw a few foxes but that’s it. I enjoyed the sunset!

Park at the dead end along side the wooden fence. Jump over the barrier and that is the beginning of the trail. Trail is all paved out, sandy at times. Steady incline all the way up. Can be completed in < 2:45 minutes. The peak is cement. Great views going up.

Nice uphill incline. Good for early morning/overcast days. Only wish folks would PICK UP THIER DOG FECES. At least cover it up with brush or sand.

Quick 3 miles in. Good for conditioning but I also enjoyed the view of the IE. Lots of sunflowers growing right now and some scattered wildflower. Relatively busy on a Sunday morning, started at 6 and only saw one person on the way up but passed about 10 on the way down. Good for a quick workout but wouldn’t say it’s a “hard” trail.

Nice trail for excercise, doing cardio. No shade. Not recommend for any hikers looking for nice views. 6miles round way. Bring fluid. Be careful with the snakes. I ran into 5 of them today.
