As a trail, no signs, hard to find. Park is beautiful though.

I loved the hike but the trail is really really overgrown sadly.

Moderately vigorous ascent at the beginning and sometimes a bit overgrown. But totally doable. There’s a nice breeze down by the lake and shady spots to rest in. There is a $10 park entrance fee though.

I stretched this walk/hike out by including the Lake View Trail and the Tree Line Trail... and it made my whole loop about 1/3 asphalt and about 2/3 dirt. Overall... very invigorating!

Good hike through the hills and along the reservoir. You can avoid the road portion of the hike with a little more studying of the trail system here. Today was overcast and cool but the road would be hot for the puppy’s feet on a sunny day.

We would have given this trail only 3 stars because it wasn’t foretold that there is a $10 park entrance fee and not clearly marked if we were on the trail or not. But had to go with a 4 star rating.because my dog learned to swim today!!! Way to go Ollie!
