Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve Trail is a 4.5 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Huntington Beach, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.
Lovely at dawn. The winter rains have caused wildflowers to grow over the trail in spots; there are also some gnat swarms near the oil wells. But these are minor inconveniences. Great dirt to run on!
Beautiful trail with lots of wildlife to see (including insects).
I walk here all the time. very easy stroll, great for a running trail too. beautiful birds and views.
Great trail with my 6 yr. She loved it!
This trail is nice & open with plenty of opportunities for photos. Lots of bird wildlife to observe. I didn't give myself enough to complete the whole route, but I'll be back soon.
Make sure to bring a jacket, the breeze right off the beach can chill.
Good for a quick, local hike.
This trail is awesome and there is a lot of wild life there and you should bring a jacket
