once you get pass the dry dirt area you get to stroll along the water and see various bird inhabitants. there are many areas to stop and sit to enjoy the view.

A great trail for a run! It was very serene with lots of different birds and wildlife to see. It’s a little muddy right now in some parts since it just rained, but not too much.

Too many bugs and dog poop. Worst of all, snakes!

One of my favorite places to hike! Diverse wildlife, smooth trail, and a few options for different directions/paths to take.

Dusty path along a fence on the other side you can see and hear the highway all the time. Wetlands full of garbage disappointment

Free parking. Portable bathrooms are gross. Beautiful trail, with light sand. Couple benches along the way to sit on. Great place to see the sunset.

We saw so much wildlife this morning. Birds, sea snails, baby sting Ray's, fish. It was a great day

Super low intensity trail with lots of lizards, birds, bunnies, and flying fish. Make sure you wear insect repellent because the flys will bite you on some parts of the trail.

Trail is nice and wide but pretty boring overall good view of the wetlands. Looks like a good place to get a good run off of the street at. Go here all the time walking dogs. Loads of irresponsible dog owners leaving their poop. If you’re out there in your conscientious pick it up and throw it away make the trail better for all of us.

Too many lizards. Easy trail

This is a pleasant gentle walk through the wetlands. There is a significant variety of wildlife and the wildflowers, although past their prime, are still plentiful. I gave it four stars because of its proximity to noisy PCH.

Great easy walk in through the wetlands. Connects to the brightwater trail as well. During the super bloom this trail was more lush and beautiful than I’ve ever seen it.

Nice easy walk, tons of lizards!

Seems nice at first, but leaves a lot to be desired. There is lots of foot traffic on the weekends, and the peacefulness is all but ruined by the constant drone of cars on PCH just a hundred yards away.

Great trail. Beautiful spring flowers, bird watching, and beach view. Some parts were pretty overgrown and the back end of the trail was a bit sketchy but overall a fabulous walk

My two kids and I enjoyed seeing a little wildlife and the wild flowers that were there when we went. Some people do a little fishing near the bridge. its peaceful and the fresh air from the ocean is awesome. in the office located in the parking lot they will allow your kids to hold a starfish if you ask and theres some educational stuff for kids to look at inside. Clean, no strollers allowed (downside).

loved the trail. very beginner friendly, relatively flat, long pants reccomend for overgrowth. mostly firm sandy paths, then a gravelly portion. lots of cute local wildlife c:
