Dramatic ridge views abound on much of this loop. It is quite steep in areas (arms and leg needed sometimes), but doable, and not scary. You may not see anyone during your hike. It may be slightly overgrown in places, but you only need rudimentary trail finding skills here.

This was tougher than I expected based on the reviews so maybe I’m just out of shape! There were a lot of switchbacks going up and it was tough going. Then I would have missed the turnout if I didn’t have the app on to notify me. It’s like you are on a road and then there’s a sharp turnoff to a narrow trail that’s overgrown so I would have never seen without the map. It’s overgrown and narrow and steep the rest of the way down. Lots of bees and bugs but also many beautiful butterflies. I even had a snake slither across the trail in front of me. Harder than I expected and I probably wouldn’t do it again but worth doing once!

The view from the top is spectacular especially around the beginning of summer. Incline isn’t bad at all

Good incline, challenging for kids towards the end, single wide track, has a couple trailheads depending on where you want to start. Trail just dissolved once over the peak. No defined way to continue down into creek, Best to return back to Parking lot once at peak.

Good hike! Easy for kids. My 6yr old son did it with no issues!
