A great workout trail! It has three to four hills to go over. It's well kept. I went this morning and stumbled upon a rattlesnake in the middle of the trail! Be vigilant.

HikingGreat!

great trail! I went on the spur to the left to the bench, and enjoyed the view from there, then continued on toward the top. Didn't make it all the way up after using some time for the spur, but overall a great easier hike.

This is a nice and well maintained trail! This is my go to on an active rest day since it’s fairly easy and has a nice breeze.

Fire road, no shade, nice views of the ocean on the way down. Need to park in residential streets.

The hill in the beginning is very steep so not recommend for elderly or families with small or complaining children. But the views are amazing! When you get to to the fork at the top going left will take you to a lookout bench which is a much better view than continuing on the regular hike path.

Tough first mile and then rolling there after. This fire road could get how without cloud cover. Bring plenty to drink on how days and be prepared for early morning cloud cover to burn off as the day rolls along. Some very nice ocean views of Laguna Beach looking south. Little cycling traffic and after the first climb little foot traffic.

A good moderate hike with views of Laguna beach! There is an incline in the beginning, but it levels out and it is an easy way back.

fyi- this trailhead, and the Alta Laguna trailhead, is closed until further notice. Too many people congragating in small neighberhoods with limited parking. You can get to the trail from inland trails but this point of access is closed until further notice per City of Laguna Beach. I'm sure there are people busting through the temporary fencing, but this is uncool to the residents who must freakout when a mass of cars and people show up on their street during a pandemic. All other Laguna trailheads are open.

great hike! The trails are open & busy on the weekend. Took a left instead of right to go to the overlook vista spot!

i don't think the OC park system have officially closed their parks for COVID. this was a really cute and short trail! it had enough incline to make you huff for a bit but nothing too crazy. The downhills are also not too tough on your knees either. saw lots of animals! they had goats grazing in a pen when i went, saw some bunnies, and a snake (not a rattle)! you get an awesome view of the ocean on one side and lush green hills that look like a windows XP background on the other side.

best view in orange county. great breeze off the ocean. recommend residential parallel parking on dartmoor street. if unavailable, there’s plenty of other residential parking nearby.
