Beautiful Trail! Went on a Saturday 5/30 around noon time and there were many people... however plenty of room to social distance. Parked along the road near the trail. Toward the end, the trail ends and you have to walk on rocks. Overall this trail is easy, just be careful with children because there are some steep parts. Very beautiful

Great morning trail for my four year old and myself. It was kind of difficult to have good footing due to the loose dirt and rocks. The trail is very steep with no side rails but the walking path was wide enough to feel safe. We had to crab walk down some sections but that’s due to our poor shoe choice. When you get to the bottom you walk through a very small patch of overgrown plants but then you see the water within a 3 minute walk. Very rocky but you can turn left or right and there are spots where you can lay a blanket or some beach chairs. Overall a pretty good way to start your morning. You will get dirty so dress accordingly.

Great little hike down to the water! beautiful views! lots of surfers going up and down with flip-flops, but a good profiled shoe makes a big difference.

I wish this trail was longer but its still pretty nice. At low tide you can access some tide pools. Some of the trails that branch off are a bit steep but one has a helpful rope that makes scrambling up and down it a bit easier. Despite the length, its a very beautiful hike.

About 2/3 the way down, it becomes a training course for Nathan Drake. Was a tad too rocky, so I headed back.

Trail leads to the water. Half the trail is over rocks. It's really cool to hear the waves move all of the loose rocks. A very relaxing sound.

The trail itself is pretty easy, but if you try to go off the trail to get to the rocks and tide pools, be prepared to slip a bit.

This trail was beautiful. It’s very short. You hike down to the beach where the surfers are. Not much else. It’s pretty easy hike.

Well I certainly would not call this an easy trail. Please beware. 1. The trail leads down to the rocky beach so make sure to have a sturdy hiking boot. 2. Find or bring a walking stick. 3. Check the high tide report. I was not able to make it all the way around the bend because water came too close at some point. Aside from that, it got my adrenaline going. Not because it was difficult but because you have to watch every step while racing to get to your destination before a possible tide comes in.

Shannon Bustos review is spot on - the end of this trail is very rocky and at 66, my balance isn't what it used to be. If you just do the portion down to the rocky beach (0.6 mi round trip) it's a pleasant hike. A lot of people take their dogs (I did). There are a lot of surfers using this trail and can tell you about alternate, more dangerous, trails to the water. The bluffs trail off of Paseo del Mar has a good view of this trail.

This is a fun trail. You can make it easy by staying the course or more adventurous by exploring new ways down!!!!
