Good trail with some good elevation and the view if great at the top

Steep in many places but the 360 degree view makes you forget all about it. Mostly a fire road to the top. Easy enough for seasoned hikers by too hard for the occasional goer.

This is a great hike for the area! You can get creative and log some decent mileage. We got 8 miles in an easy afternoon. Also, there aren't a lot of people, which makes it nice.

***As I understand it, the "no trespassing signs" are from a home owner, and not the city. Grand Terrace is also pushing for a grant to build a public hiking trail: http://www.grandterrace-ca.gov/uploads/8/1/1/9/8119166/000._final_grant_application_1.pdf

Have fun, and enjoy. Keep our trails clean (NO TRASH or DOG CRAP)!

Lots of overlapping dirt biking trails, it's easy to get turned around in the beginning. Kind of awkward to jump over a fence with a "no trespassing" sign, but nobody seemed to mind.

Dry this time of year. Good for dogs. Watch for snakes.

A great hike. Some really nice elevation change. Clean trail. Didn't see any trash on the trail. There was a "private property/No trespassing" sign but I saw fellow hikers so I ignored it. We saw about two dozen people the whole day on a Saturday morning at 11am.

Minus one star for all of the scat on the trail. Watch your step!

Ran a lot of this with some walking on big ups. Did anyone comment on signs saying closed and private? I took a route straight up the first face. Then hit bigger trail. I like the climb. Weird on the signage. Will upload photos
