Bloody Rock Trail is a 1.7 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Elk Creek, California that offers the chance to see wildlife and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and trail running and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
Directions from Ukiah: Travel 6 miles north on US Hwy. #101, turn right (east) onto California Hwy#20 and travel for 5 miles. Turn onto County Road #240 and travel 26 miles northeast to Lake Pillsbury. Take Forest Route #20N01 around the Lake and travel to the junction of 20N01 and 19N30. The trailhead is just past the junction on the right.
