A short fun hike. The path through the old campsite is overgrown and there are poison oaks, so just be careful.

Great day to be on this hike. There was lots of water and our dog loved it. The thing that kept me from giving it five stars was that we ran into one rattle snake on the trail and one on the road. The one on the trail was literally across the trail and he wasn’t so keen about us trying to get by. So we headed back to the road and waked up that until we got to a spot where we could get down to the water and on the walk back to the car we ran into another rattle snake on the road. So be careful out there.

Recent rains pumped up the flow. Other than scrambling over boulders, this trail is “easy”. Lot’s of birds.
