I have always enjoyed hiking in coastal redwoods. The red woods look beautiful when sun starts to set and sun rays hit the trees at and angle and light up selective areas in the woods providing excellent photography opportunities!!!

Loved it! Went as a solo hiker... not a problem at all. The Bay Area's beauty never ceases to amaze me.

Nice mostly flat trail. The trees keep you in shade most of the time. Only saw a few wildflower blooms.

Beautiful! Joaquin Miller Park is one of my favorites. It really doesn't get much better than this.

This is a great trail for beginners or for people looking for a quick hike. The trail is short and not too hilly. Big Trees trail is not as well traveled as Sequoia Bayview. You can also mountain bike these trails.
