This trail goes in parts. So when you come to what looks like an end you need to continue the trail up to your right. It looks like it could be a driveway to someone's home but you will see the trail sign. It is actually pretty unique and gets even prettier as you continue the hike.

Great neighborhood trail that has good views and rolling hills. I added an extra single track trail to my trip that goes down to the old golf course.

It’s a great loop type of hike, and more challenging than I thought. It was perfect to come here on week day because there were almost no people around, and I could enjoy nature without distractions. I saw a deer and bunch of birds and also plenty of beautiful wild flowers.

Pretty good trail, great for hikers and pretty good for mountain bikers. Only three features (3 jumps) and a lot of climbs and downhill parts. Besides that pretty good trail for mountain bikers, just be careful there is sometimes soft dirt at the end of some descends that might make you fall from your tires not getting any traction.

Definitely a moderate hike that will get your heart going! Really pretty views of Simi and the mountains I’m the distance. Lots of lizards and birds and rabbits too. We just finished up the hike around 6pm and it was perfect. It would be really hot in the middle of the day because there is no shade.

Beautiful views but no shade and steady incline for most of the first half. Nice semi shaded path behind neighborhoods for most of the second half. Fun hike!

Fun hike! Kind of like interval training with the hills. Lots of red ants on the trail, so mind where you stop. No shade for a large majority of the hike. My dog quit out about half way through and we had to take a big break in the only shade we could find! Will definitely do it a bunch! Seems like fun on a mountain bike also.

Really nice! Lots of shade on first half but then totally exposed for about 2 miles... have to cross trail through a few quiet streets... does not diminish the beauty. Lots of rabbits, quail and hawks... signs were up about Mountain Lion sightings so not too early or late and no little dogs off leash for sure!

A little muddy from the last few weeks of rain but overall the trail was in pretty good condition and is not overgrown at all. Lots of rolling hills and definitely kid friendly. Nice views from the top and you wind in and around a few different neighborhoods.

This trail was really great. it says 4 miles but there are a lot of street breaks that can make it shorter or trail forks that can make it longer. It had a good amount of incline, downs and straight aways but very moderate for anyone to hike. we saw a total 6 people the whole time so really quiet and secluded. Fantastic views, you can literally see all of Simi. The parking is ridiculous. There is a teenie paved parking driveway that at most holds 4 cars. I assume there is more street parking since it is in a residential area. Also be leery near the entrance that you do have to cross a small stream, they layed a few planks down but might be difficult to cross for some. Good for dogs and active kids.

Well maintained trail. there are a couple of decent hills and some drops but over all it was a good experience. parking lot is across the street and its very small so come early.

Nice combination of hills and neighborhood. The neighborhood is nice so I feel like it’s motivating. Also saw a lot of bunnies on this trail.

First to Review

This is a perfect running trail. Not rocky and trail well maintained. The trail is located in a neighborhood. So close enough to civilization but into the local mountains to feel away from the rat race. However the parking lot for the trail (located across the street ) is so small it probably only fits 2 or three cars. Basically a great trail for locals but I wouldn't travel to far to hike it.
