Great Trail for this Rookie. New to the game but already addicted. Running a 3” Lifted 4x4 Ranger w 32” Wildpeaks. Got about 4 miles in then 4 miles back. About 10-15” of snow, slush & ice on the trail. Good tire tracks but super icy corners as you descend and turn. Back side slid out a few times. Hug the mountain for minimal slide. Incredibly fun possibly could have gone the entire trail but it started to get deeper and wifey is pregnant. Didn’t wanna get stuck. Normally a 2wd trail. Right now 4x4 w lockers and high clearance 10” and All terrains minimum
Very easy trail and has a lot of turn outs where you can take a quick break. very nice scenery. my RAV4 did good with srock height. i think 2WD will make it just fine just pay attention on the forecast.
Beautiful nature view all around with snow, mud, and a creek too, but with the water frozen over it’s hard to even drive without losing traction and sliding all over the place. Had to turn back half way up the trail once I came across an area that was just too frozen over to even drive on.
Had to go again for a second day! Lots of mud!! Covered the Forester!!! 2016 Subaru Forester TRAIL OPEN
