Beehive Meadow Trail is a 10.4 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Groveland, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is best used from April until September.
We were able to access this trail the first weekend in November, and it was beautiful. Lots of fall colors in the lower elevation, and after the 2800 foot elevation gain, it was crisp and cool and there was even a little snow on the ground. We chose to camp along the banks of nearby Frog Creek. This was a great place to go for a quick little weekend backpacking trip.
