Would recommend to anyone! Not too difficult, but make sure you follow the map because there are many trails you can take. Feel free to explore! I didn’t follow the map and still ended at Bee Rock. A lot of overgrowth, so wear leggings or something to cover your legs if you have sensitive skin. Only saw 1 person at 9am on a Thursday morning!

This is a great way to bypass Hogback if you’ve done it too many times. Go up the “Glendale Peak” way (from Greek Theatre) and take it all the way up to the path split where you start Hogback. Then, take the fire road trail going left to Bee Rock. The fire road will take you all the way to North Trail, which feeds back into Dante’s View/Hogback OR keep taking North Trail to Mt. Hollywood.

Used it as a descent from Bee Rock after climbing the rock itself.

Great view, had to scramble up an unstable rock outcropping but I think that was a shortcut option. Took the meandering way back. Go early, not much shade.

Hiked in the dark to catch the sunrise — super steep at the end and lots of spider webs but a good workout and great sunrise view

I took the alternative trail to bee rock very challenging and some rock bolding.

A fun hike in Griffith Park. The view from the top was pretty and so was the actual rock. Would definitely suggest this hike for people who like to hike Griffith Park.

Good, quick trail. Took just under an hour for up and back, and a little extra to hang out at the top. Only 3 stars because the trails are pretty narrow, which is usually fine, but with Griffith Park traffic and trail etiquette, it gets a little frustrating, but it's definitely a fun little trail of you go on off-hours.

The trail took me and my wife 2 hours 36 minutes to complete we were walking at a moderate pace .. 18,000 steps we counted on our pedometers and overall was a beautiful walk / hike with lots of views and you cover a good chunk of Griffith Park

Excellent easy to access hike. Just like most of this area there are a lot of crossing trail, so it's easy to get off track but minor detours are still nice.

Nice little trail. Came rugby after rain so it was muddy. Wore boots so it was fine. Lots of green and Bee Rock is a nice reward.
