Great views, especially when it isn't hazy. Short but steep climb, but nothing technical other than a couple loose sections. Good training hike but avoid it on a hot day.

Clear trail, easy to follow. Good workout. Very exposed to sun. Nice Vista from the top although hazy today.

Did this hike on a weekday with cooler temperature and semi-cloudy day. It was a good workout going up the switchback. The view is very rewarding as you can see the San Gabriel mountains, nearby OC mountains and ocean far away. The gate is closed beyond the visitor center so there is only 6 parking spaces. Be sure to get there early.

Great training hike. Pretty views at the top. No shade and some pretty friendly mountain bikers. Overall I really enjoyed this hike.

I do this hike as my staple conditioning hike 2-3 times a week and at least once week to the Doppler. I've had an organized hike here with at least 35 hikers taking part to as evening hike, it's breathe taking vista as the sun goes down and will have more coming soon!

Did this hike at 3:00 AM to catch the sunrise, nice hike, and not too challenging. Pretty solid view as well.

Good conditioning hike if you’re looking for some cardio - 3 miles of switchbacks, straight up. Fun! Then the way back is easy breezy. Keep eyes and ears out for mountain bikers here and there.

Great single track. No way to get lost here. Good climbing and not too technical. Not much shade here, so be mindful of the dog children.
