This road takes you past cow pastures. There are great views from the top of the ridge. The land on either side of the road is all private.

Lightly traveled, well maintained gravel ridge top byway. Stupendous views. Free range livestock throughout.

this is all private property, actually, but makes for a beautiful drive between Ferndale and Rio Dell... or if you're heading out to Patrolia from either town. watch out for free roaming cattle ;)

This is a private road that takes you through a cow pasture, it is at the top of the ridge so the view is great but if you enter from the east side there is a No Trespassing sign. The trip to the road goes through some nice redwoods. As you can see in the photo from another review, there is a lot of open land.

This is not a trail but a county road that passes through an area that is all private property. It makes for a nice drive, but any hiking off the road is trespassing.
