pavement quality is not great for scooter. lots of trash. at one mile the path ends and you have to walk on the "beach".

Granted, we ended up here because all of the fires in the area and there are few places to go that are open. This trail isn’t our cup a tea normally. The trail was easy, and it started out with quite a few good shore birds.

Bumpy, with roots elevating the pavement.

Always nice to hike along the Bay, but watch the trail where Bayshore drive turns. You will need to stay on the street around the corner, and not along the Bay as the trail is “under construction” for a short stretch. Still worth the walk!

Terrible trail. Not well paved AT ALL! Terrible for running worse for strollers. The trail does not go through because the bridge is out. So it’s basically a mile of a super curvy partially paved concrete. Way too many people.

RunningBridge out

This trail runs along the water. Not a good view but also not a bad one. All paved, but we ran into an area where either the trail ends or the bridge is out so we had to go around along the street and finished the marked route. Had a good run on a warm morning.

Comstruction makes you detour to Beach Road and shorten the trail distance

Trail is along the SF Bay, great views of bay and planes taking off and landing at SFO, be alert - cyclist on trail. Limited parking - major drawback

You can forget about trying to park here...there are essentially 10 or so “public” spots which are always full and camped out by typical California parking lot vultures waiting on stand by to take them. You can park in the Marriott lot but it costs about $7. The area is very nice; the trail abruptly stops at a water impasse or something so I couldn’t run the full 5 miles. Maybe I went the wrong way or something? Decent experience overall I guess.

It’s nice place with a view of planes, but the day we were their the air was very dirty, I’m not sure is it everyday like this or it was a direction of wind that day, but we decided to finish our walk after 15 minutes

Ideal trail to walk on when you are headed for the airport to wait for family or a friend and discover their flight has been delayed by several hours. You have great view of planes landing and taking off.

I walked this many times over the 30 years that my office was a block away. Once or twice I did part of it with my friend and once upon a time secretary, Alexia.
