Easy, short hike to an incredible waterfall. When you reach the base of Bassi Falls, you will be treated to an awesome view of the entire 120 ft. cascade. Later in the summer, there is really not much to see, as Bassi Creek becomes a mere fragment of its former self.

Awesome!!!! Nobody was there. (on a Sunday afternoon). Keep in mind it's a dirt path off the main road and there's a lot of ditches. When you park, you walk for about a quarter off a mile, then you start going down hill.

December on this trail is awesome. No one around, but still able to make out the path. Waterfall is iced over but scrambling up it wasn’t too bad. Really enjoyed the peace and different falls you hit as you climb.

Trail was easy to follow. The waterfall was running nice due to the recent snow/rain fall. Had a couple decent photo ops. Overall, if you’re a beginner, you won’t find this trail too difficult.

Very nice falls and trails however there are lack of guidance signs to get to the starting points and also to the destination points... people may get lost if they do have maps or offline navigation, trail does not get signal.

Visited Bassi today. Beautiful as always. Not much water but what there was was clear and crisp.

I hiked the trail on 8/10/18. I enjoy destination hikes, especially waterfall hikes. I had no idea what to expect at the end of the trail. I was mildly disappointed that Bassi Falls was just a trickle this time of the year. The trail on AllTrails was very different from the route that I took. The trail is in the process of restoration and if it weren’t for trail markings I probably would have been lost. I had trouble finding the trail back to the trailhead. I had to rely on shoe prints and paths that looked to have had heavy foot traffic. Hopefully they make better trail markings for the rerouted path. However, I will definitely come back to see Bassi Falls in all its glorious flow, perhaps in the Spring time.

Can be moderate for some due to altitude and heat, but so so so worth it. Amazing woodsy beginning and then a drop down to beautiful pools and falls.

Walked this trail on 7/22. Pros: probably great for kids, easily accessible from where we stayed, and had some small pools of water to put our feet in towards the end. Cons: very little to see along the way, broken glass along the path, and the waterfall was just barely flowing.

Nice trail but very little shade, lots of gravel and rocks and no waterfalls in mid July. On a blistering hot day you better wear sun screen, have a wide brimmed hat and have a good pair of hiking boots. Difficult to locate the trailhead if you have not been there before as signage is poor and the elevation will wear you out quickly unless you are accustomed to hiking in the mountains. Very few people for a Saturday afternoon.

This trail was really nice. Easy to follow and most driving on paved road to get there. The water was not flowing like crazy (it's July, so . . .), but there were plenty of pools to splash in and get our feet/legs wet. The only reason I dropped it to 4 stars was that there were a lot of places with broken glass lying around, and I had concerns about our dog. She was fine, but it was not a pleasant part of the trip.

love this trail! take a bathing suit

This was an awesome hike! Easy enough for your dog, and great exercise for yourself. The water fall is beautiful and there’s a few good spots to swim in, as well.

Really enjoyed this hike. Went mid-week (6/27) and it was still fairly crowded at the falls. Water still flowing over the falls. The scenery is amazing.

Beautiful falls. Easy hike, doable for little ones who don’t like to hike. Spring time when water is moving. Beautiful!

Very fun quick hike, no stars guns off of ice house rd so it can be hard to find. The turn off is after the silver creek bridge. Stay to the right. There are two parking areas off the gravel road. The first is easy and best for regular cars, the second lot to the right and down farther is washed out.

Nice trail. About .7 in there is a teaser cascading fall where there are some pools to swim. At the Falls itself, there are several swimming pools—wish I had my suit! Falls still running pretty good on June 14.

Nice easy hike and beautiful. My children loved it. Be warned to get to the falls is a VERY steep entrance. And lots of rocks at the end. Careful with little ones.

adorable trail and great waterfall views ! easy for all ages... just be wary of slippery rocks and rushing water parts of the year !

Awesome adventure trail, short and sweet hike up to the base of the falls, then a fun cairn led scramble up to the top of the granite overlook. The access road is best in a high clearance vehicle, but I saw some passenger cars at the trailhead. Awesome spot for dogs to run and explore.
