Lots of fun very scenic great for a day drive. We started in Nice and ended up in Willows at I-5. About 80 miles.

A long, fire break type of road road, with average scenery. No real challenges.

Bartlett Springs itself is just about gone! A few foundations and a trickle of water is all that remains of the once famous resort (circa 1868). Of course, vandals have made their graffiti-marks on many objects in the area. From Bartlett Springs, the trail (road) begins it's climb out of the canyons and tops out above Clear Lake. A nice downhill for 2-4 miles drops you off about 200 yards from the lake.

This is a pleasant, full day, outing.
