nice stroll with great views of houses in an area you would usually not go through. I recommend for families and dog walks

Nice city hike, some trail, start from the bottom of maple st. Nice views, easy for the whole family, i do recommend!

Great views, I don’t give it 5 stars because it’s not marked at all, you need to use the app, otherwise you get lost. There are too many gated properties downhill and it’s hard to find you way back.

Nice views. There’s a hill coming up the canyon and another hill coming down but other than that it’s a nice and easy walk. FYI, we walked with our dogs here but encountered three other dogs all off leash. My dog is dog reactive and we weren’t happy about this. There are signs that dogs must be leashed but rules aren’t followed here.

Great hike with my dog and SO. Beautiful day and nice sunny and shady spots. First part is slightly uphill and in nature with beautiful wild flowers and cacti blooming. The bridges are a nice treat as well as the unique homes along the way. Would hike it again! Note: I did see one needle cap near canyon exit so I would beware and not let kids or dogs loose around here.

Nice walk. It is not difficult, but there are some good views, nice neighborhood, and peaceful surroundings.

Not bad for urban hiking. It was perfect for the kids and kinda historic.

Easy peasy. Got to see some decent homes on bankers hill.

Not so much a trail as a walking tour of the older San Diego houses of Banker's Hill. The highlights are the Quince St trestle bridge and the Spruce St. suspension bridge. To add actual trail to your trip, start at the end of Maple St. near Little Italy. Head up Maple Canyon and when done with Banker's Hill head back down 1st Ave to Laurel St. & Little Italy.
