Beautiful hike. We did 8.6 miles which consisted of a figure eight route. We went counterclockwise. There was a variety of grades, switchbacks in the beginning to fire roads to a couple overgrown steep downhill trails. Overall there would be short bursts up hill then it would level out. At the top you can see out to the Richmond bridge, as well as San Francisco. Lots of cover. Highly recommend

This hike was in the Baltimore Canyon Open Space Preserve. We started at the Dawn Falls Trailhead, continued on the Barbara Spring Trail, Huckleberry Trail, turned right onto the Blithedale Ridge Fire Road, turned left onto the Corte Madera Trail, followed the Hoo-Koo-E-Koo Trail that led us back to the starting point. The total distance was 8.3 miles with 1,470 ft. elevation grain. It features waterfalls and is rated moderate.

We hiked this on Presidents’ Day. There is hardly any parking near the trailhead so be prepared to add another mile onto your hike walking to and from your car. We experienced Lots of microclimates and the falls were gushing. Some trees down and debris on the trail but overall not too bad after the storms we had. Be especially careful on the Corte Madera part of the trail. It’s like a river running through there right now making it difficult to find the actual trail. All in all a great hike that ended up being 10 miles.
