The trail is not usable, the segment between Hihns Sulphur Spring Road and Aptos Creek Fire Road is on private property and there is a no trespass sign. As an alternative you can take Buzzard Lagoon Road, start from where it crosses Highland Way and from there you can access Aptos Creek Fire Road.
