Great trail
The trail is open with some fire damage but growing back beautifully! I took my 8 month old puppy and she loved it! Absolutely gorgeous trail with some good inclines for a nice workout. I wore my hiking boots but saw others in regular tennis shoes.
Great hike. Always busy with friendly people and dogs.
Great local trail. Well traveled and safe. I think it’s still closed due to Thomas fire damage.
Drove all the way out there from West LA to find out the park was closed due to the fires. It was such a sad vision and my heart goes out to those that live around there, but it would’ve been nice for All Trails to update/mention which trails are closed on their app. The low rating is for All Trails not the actual trail. Love and light to the county of Ventura.
good
Nice hike. Great views. The Ventura Botanical gardens are gone now. Thomas fire burned the area down. Fee parking.
Quick workout with steep inclines when arriving to Ventura. Views are great.
The “big loop” (up to the fences that border the avocado groves and along the ridge) is a great workout! On a clear day, the ocean views are terrific.
Nice and easy for a beginner who is working to increase enduance.
The hike is a good work out over all
Not a bad hike, but very narrow and a lot of sand in parts. Only a couple of steep inclines. Took about an hour.
Great for the whole family.
My favorite trails! Lots of options and beautiful views!
Love this park great for hikes and a bunch of short trails..
It's pretty overgrown in some spots, and from what I could tell it just loops around the park. The trail forked a few times and I wasn't sure which way to go.
As of spring 2017 the trail is quite overgrown in some areas, making it frustrating to hike.
People say it's moderate, which it is. But it's also straight uphill. I took a couple of breaks, also please wear hiking boots, or shoes with a good grip. Some parts are a little slippery. Beautiful scenery, but also Some overgrown plants, with tons of bees. So many bees right now.
Have done many times. Many fun and not too difficult trails. There are some secret trails that lead to the backcountry. One has access to Two Trees.
Perfect for the family. Two great kids parks and some bbq pits.

Used to love this hike but the ground is dangerously uneven due to all of the rain and very overgrown.
Great incline trail. Close to where I live and not too long of a trail which allows me to hit the trail before work.
Good
Nice park but boring hike with no rewarding views. I tried to get a better view from the westsode of the park and ended up on private property. A man seemed angry I was there but there are no signs. The views suck, this park is good for a batroom stop or take your dogs
Love these trails...
It's steady. Sites aren't too good considering the location.
Several dog waste piles on the trail otherwise a 5 star trail
Super fun! Very easy to modify difficulty and length based on the trails you take.
Only gave this hike a 3 because of length. Its a good running trail. Very popular on weekends and afternoons. There are "off" trails to make the hike longer but it can easily be done in under an hour.
