Nice loop with moderate climb and a steep descent. Ends at picnic table that you start at (Arroyo) so it's a great place to picnic and then do a one hour group hike with friends that will be moderately challenging.

Downhill is annoyingly steep and not maintained. But the first half is great.

Short, but challenging hike. It's a moderate descent up and then back down. The trail is shaded closer to the trailhead, but you're exposed to the sun for most of the hike. Bring some good shoes because the trail is covered in loose gravel and dirt; it's easy to lose you're footing. According to the signs, you can bike or horseback during the dry months. I saw "evidence" of horses throughout the trail.
