Description
Waypoints (0)

Please note there is no parking at the trailhead. The Arroyo Terrace Loop is a good alternative to the nearby, more crowded Rose Bowl Loop, with the added bonus of some elevation gain for a better workout. From the top, there are nice views of the Rose Bowl, the Arroyo and Colorado Street Bridge, and the San Gabriel Mountains. If you're an architecture geek, you can easily extend the route at the top to pass by some notable Craftsman houses by Greene & Greene and Myron Hunt. For the kids, you could easily add a visit to Kidspace Museum and the Rose Bowl Aquatic Center to make it a day.

Walking

Pretty alternative to the walk around the Rose Bowl with some incline and a view. Can do it twice to get in more mileage.

This trail was a nice short morning walk! The trail head was a bit difficult to find and it wasn’t signed well so I’d recommend having the map out to follow along. The views at the top were worth the hike!

It’s a short trail which is perfect for my morning walk. The trailhead was difficult to find and no parking. You’ll need to park your car on the street.

A short walk around the Rose Bowl Aquatic Center and Roberts Pavilion (which looks like a great spot to take your kids). As far as a hike though this is quite boring.
