Not recommended until trail maintenance is confirmed. Peak was covered in waist-high stiff brush, lost the trail constantly. No shade, hard push to get through that. Some of the switchbacks had eroded very badly with loose sand and rocks. Nice views but not worth it.

Trail was easy to follow, but the grass is pretty high on the edges and there are many many swarms of flying bugs. We ended up turning around after a mile or so.

Really hot! The trail at the very top of the ridge is barely maintained, it really wasn’t visible in all the brush. But the views are spectacular all along the way.

Hot, buggy, a hard hike, but phenomenal views well worth the difficulty!
