Nice walk through the rocks, plenty of opportunities to climb if you bring shoes and crash pad.

Super easy and short hike with a nice reward at the end. Very “instagram friendly,” so beware of “influencers.”

Cool easy trail, got to be careful while scrambling the rocks

Easy but beautiful evening hike. Arrived late to 29 Palms in mid April but we were able to get to Arch Rock parking and to the rocks and back in an hour, all just before sunset. Evening time offered great lighting and highly recommend.

Big fun in a giant's rock garden. Climbing boulders, pics on top of arch, seemingly endless mass of boulders to explore.

Great trail. Try to get to the arch before 10 am to beat the crowds. If you park at Twin Tanks the trail to arches is on your left as you enter the parking area and you will basically be making your way to White Tank. It is a little confusing, but the reason you park at Twin Tanks is because White tank is a camp ground and usually there is no parking there and there is a lot of parking available at Twin. Hope this helps.

We parked in the campground. Probably wouldn't always work, but many sites were empty, and we weren't the only hikers to do this today. We went around the right side (as you face the arch). Some clambering to be sure, but it was a good choice, and we could return to the car by continuing southish, ending up just beyond the johns. Used nifty location on Alltrails to select which of the paths would work best, as there are many such around the backside of the arch. Great rocks. Well worth going off trail.

Very short and easy hike, but parking was a bit of a challenge. There are nice postings along the route that explain different geological facts pertaining to the rocks you see.

It is not a long hike, but it is outstanding for photo ops. Does not look like much when you get started but the end is worth it. All skill levels will enjoy it. Can do some bouldering at the arch area.

Great trail. One of the most unique photography opportunities in the park.

Very easy and plenty of areas to explore off trail. We climbed some boulders and explored past the arch. There is a campground right next to it.

You hike to a campground - better trails in the park for sure

Very easy hike and nice rock formation. Tip: take picture from left bottom side of rock for best perspective

A short walk that can be done no matter how hot it is, which does come in handy in summer. Pretty rock formations around and we saw a rather impressive chuckawalla lizard.

It is a short and very easy trail. It does have some very interesting and beautiful rock formations. Great for taking pictures. The information signs are very informative and interesting.

Maybe I missed what was special about this, but I would personnally skip it. It's not very different then other small hike in the area. Of course if you are camping there, why not?
