No RV parking allowed at the trail head! There is a small roadside pull off on the main road for an exhibit and it will add two miles to the round trip if you take this option. I took the loop clockwise and it was indeed the way to go as you finish with a long flat stretch through the joshua trees

We were lucky enough to come at a good time and had the entire arch to ourselves for a good 20 minutes or so. The trail is fairly maintained and an easy walk. However, the Arch is tucked away so me sure to keep your eyes out. Two groups of people almost walked by it on our way out but we were able to give them directions. Be sure to bring lots of water, especially when it is hot out.

Beautiful rock arch! Trail is good, if not we’ll marked, and it wasn’t too crowded at 8am.

HikingGreat!

Very easy trail with many large boulders and rock formations. The arch itself gets packed with people taking photos, so if you plan on getting a picture or staying on the arch for longer than a minute, arrive early in morning.

Beautiful sunset. Came out 12/29 around 4PM. Few people there by that time; enjoyed climbing the rocks to watch the sunset in peace. Very easy walk and climb.

Easy, beautiful and scenic trail. Our toddler walked most of it. Def a more "heavily trafficked trail".
