Beautiful trail! Make sure not to wear shorts though as the West Ridge section of the trail is covered in poison oak.

HikingGreat!

Absolutely stunning views of redwood through out. We started around 8:50am and finished in 7 hrs 16 mins. We went up the hill using the left side as it was a more gradual incline. Also bought membership of AllTrails as cell signal is pretty minimal through out the trail. There are plenty forks in the trail and so downloaded maps were very helpful.

Exquisite passable spring trail. Westridge so soft on the feet on the way down.

This trail is absolute magic and a hidden gem in the Bay! We cover it in our video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y42Q8iYdw54&t=542s This hike is gorgeous, it takes you on a wide variety of terrains beneath redwoods with a beautiful creek running alongside. It offers lots of shade and is easy to follow! This was a truly gorgeous escape from the city !

Nice trail. Good variety of terrain. Some fire roads. Shady and cool. Limited number of people once past the 2 mile mark.

The trail has no traffic.. one foot wide with poison oak on both sides in many places... make sure to bring soap and a wash clothe to wipe down after ...ascended single track and did the fireroad descent.... steep heavily rooted sections ... would be great on mountain bike .
