Fun trail to do but the canyon itself was very short. The hike was mainly through the woods. There's a very steep ladder at the end of the trail, where you can walk up to see the canyon from above and rest. However, it was pretty crowded when we went, since everyone wanted a picture with the canyon. It's a nice walk! P.S. We went in February.

My son wasn't in the hiking mood and was complaining until we came to the slot. His mood quickly turned positive and he asked if we could do the slot a second time. We had a great time navigating the narrow walls.

Partially closed. The canyon portion is closed for COVID, but you can get a 1.35 mi flat easy loop and just skip that part. It’s easy to follow the signs. Will reassess my rating when I come back with an open trail.

ON JUNE 19, 2020 THERE WERE SIGNS POSTED “TRAIL CLOSED” Very fun and easy trail. Can be completed in about an hour. I seen kids as little as 3yrs old on this trail so its not a hard or tiresome trail at all. It can be a tight squeeze in some spots but well worth it just keep going. There are some awesome photo opportunities along the canyon. Make people jealous of how much cooler your social media is than theirs after finding this “hidden/top secret” trail. Safe travels.
