A steep but fun trail :) just make sure to use good shoes as the path does get slippery!

A nice little walk up the mountain with some pretty views along the way. Not strenuous in my opinion. I feel there are other local trails with nicer views but it was nice to switch it up from the Satwiwa/Wendy Trailhead for once!

Nice trail, best to wear trail shoes as areas are smooth and slippery. All uphill, many mountain bikers. The views are of Thousand Oaks/Newbury park.

This is one of the best hikes in the area. It’s fairly strenuous but the views get better and better the higher you go. At Angel Vista there’s a 360 degree view along the length of the Santa Monica range out to the ocean then across the Conejo Valley. A frightening note about my trip down I must of passed at least a dozen people on the narrow trail which has lots of switchbacks and not one besides myself had a mask on.

Trail says moderate but for me definitely above moderate especially for someone trying to mountain bike the trail. Definitely need more experience when mountain biking the trail but for a hike I would agree that it would be a moderate trail. Lots of up hills. Great trail! Would definitely do it again. Phone died when I went down the hill and hit Lynn Rd. But walked the rest of then loop since I got a flat tire!!

Nice trail. Lots of shade. A significant part of the trail is on a road. Great views. Many mountain bikers. You can hear the 101 on quite a bit of the trail.

This is a killer loop. Single track, with some nice shady areas in the woods. Not sure why it’s considered “easy” as the climb up is pretty technical and has some gnarly rocks to maneuver around. Definitely not easy. It is a short ascent, and going down is a blast! Plenty of options if you want to extend the ride and branch off on to another trail at the top.

The thing I didn't like the most out of this trail is the constant uneven ground. Wear your good shoes because I didn't and I ate shit running on the way back towards Lynn. There was only 3 groups of hikers, its dog friendly and you have another trail option of where to hike. Short but it does work you out. The wild flowers are a bonus.

Good hike but I didn’t get to see all the views as I started at 7am and there was some thick cloud cover. Nothing too challenging but not a lot of even footing on this trail. I only saw 2 groups of hikers and one pair of mt. bikers. Park in the cul-de-sac next to the trailhead. I will definitely stop back to see if I can catch the views next time.

That was very awesome. Climbing the whole time but pretty easy. Very rewarding when you get to the top. Picnic table with amazing views. We hung out at the top for a while. Couple mountain bikers but mostly just people walking.

Awesome hike with beautiful views the whole stretch. Just keep your ears open for bikers because they can come flying down the mountain. This is my most hiked trail in the area and can go out and back in 45 minutes... I like to hike up and trail run down.

I love this trail for a good, quick workout. It takes me 35 minutes each way. I would not categorize this as easy. When I was out of shape, I could not make it more than half way up. This trail helped me build my endurance and fitness. I hike it at least 1-2 a week. You will share the trail with mountain bikers--most of whom are polite, although there are a few "gonzos", so be aware. Dusk is great for bird watching.

Not really a loop, according to the map, there is an extra mile or mile and a half near Angels Vista, but worth the extra effort, I didn’t make it a loop ended when I reached Lynn

I do not agree that it is an easy hiking trail but it is uphill most of the time and it is a good intense climb. It is a narrow were hiking path versus a wide trail. Mountain bikes to go up and down the Single Ln., Trail. I saw lots of wildflowers and some birds. It does have some shade.

Trail was in great condition. Some parts were a little overgrown which led to bugs. Bobcat droppings were quite abundant which led to flys being out of control. Once at the top, you realize it was all worth it! Easy hike with a decent amount of mountain bikers, share the road and you will be just fine.

As a hiker, I would appreciate it if the many bikers on this trail would wear bike bells and be aware that people take this trail by foot. And if you are on foot, I would recommend not wearing headphones on this trail and keeping an ear out for fast-approaching cyclists on this single track trail. Aside from that, we enjoyed it and I would recommend it. It's a solid workout because of the uphill climb, but the views are rewarding and there is a bench and a picnic table at the top where you can rest, have a snack, and enjoy your accomplishment of reaching the top. There's plenty of parking on the residential street at the trailhead (Regal Oak Court).

Good workout, reasonably well-maintained trail, nice vistas. Good views of Conejo Valley northward, and Hidden Valley southward. Watch out for mountain-bikers. Bonus - five minutes from home.

Only 1.5 mi up but it’s a continual up. As a 50+ hiker, I would rank easy-moderate. Beautiful view all around is my favorite part. Would have given it a five if mountain bike traffic was less frequent.

Lovely trail when I want a quick hike close to home. Great views from the top. If you go in the morning the trail is mostly shaded by the mountain itself. Watch out for bikers! They're common, and come down the trail pretty fast.
