Recommended for beautiful scenery! Very short, and even my 70 year old father had no problem with the trail. A few stairs, but otherwise very little incline.

Great easy trail, perfect for a little hike with my 2.5 years old, or baby in the carrier. Half shaded, along the river, in the middle of a palm oasis.

Such a nice loop. Beautiful palms, water, lizards and plants. Amazing views. It cost $9 to get in, so make sure to complete another trail like Murray Canyon or Palm Canyon

This is a beautiful trail. It has a beautiful view of Palm trees, mountains, a small canyon, stream and small falls all the way. We could also see some flowers and cactus. It might get a bit hot depending on days weather but there is plenty of shade at least in first half of the loop.

Great trail and plenty of spots to take pictures! Very crowded but it was a major holiday. There were still tons of spots to be one with nature! This trail is very easy but worth it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the bathrooms by the parking lot. They were not clean at all but again, it was packed so they did get a lot of use, except for the party I was with, whom decided to hold on until we got back to town. All in all, a fabulous hike. I would do it again for sure.

Perfect for all skill levels, kids, and views. Wouldn't call it a hike, but cannot wait to come back over and over.

We started on the right side of the loop first which looks to be where most people start. I was thrown a bit by the easy classification given the rocky narrow path and slippery sand beneath on the first leg. Not a steep ascent but definitely not a flat and smooth surface where you can easily look around above and walk at the same time. Would be tricky when wet. A hearty healthy person with good balance could do it and we did see a young toddler on the trail. It’s not until the halfway point do things open up and become smooth as you head back to parking lot. Great natural sage and clean water smell the whole time! We all liked it! Wish you could pay/had option to enter by the car load. One hike for $25 for two adults and a 62+ person seemed high.

Amazingly beautiful trail. We did it with our 3 year old and 5 month old strapped to us. Super simple and scenic. Many other hikes around this area but we only had time for one, unfortunately.

Beautiful! Cost $9 per person but the reservation has many more trails to do after or before to compensate for cost.

Its a loop. Some people will start from the picnic area then end up in California Palm Oasis. We did opposite, blessed with shades from the palm with nice sound of river, crossed the small bridge and scrambled to open field of bushes and cactuses. Wear your proper attire and adequate sunscreen

Very cool rock formations on the leg along the stream. Fascinating flora, especially for someone not used to the desert ecosystem. Not much shade on this hike, so plan accordingly. If you're a climber, you'll be tempted - but it's a no-climbing zone.

It was definitely an easy walk for the able bodied. There was a rattlesnake encounter by the group in front of us but easily bypassable. Lush Palm trees by the river. Enjoyable walk.
