Very nice and easy hike. Off to one of the trails is a small river. Plenty of people out but wasn’t crowded.

This would be a nice off leash park except for the dog poop. It seems almost no one picks up after their dog, so the poop is everywhere. it's gross and a total turn off. Very disappointing.

I would recommend this trail for anyone who wants the peace and quiet of a good nature hike! It’s also a great place to bring your dogs!

One small leg of the trail is closed for erosion. Nice, easy hike to see a great view of the valley.

This Trail follows the perimeter of Alston park on the east side of Napa. The trail includes walking through an off-leash dog park so hikers should be comfortable with dogs off leash. Beautiful little park and a nice short hike.

It’s best to hike early in the morning before it gets hot. The sign says ... Dogs on leach ... but I saw a lot of dogs running free.

I like this trail for the length but in the off leash area people are stupid with their dogs sometimes. I have a bad experience 1/3 of the times I come here.

Perfect for what it is. Don't expect deep dives into nature but rather a great escape from the bustle of the valley, with great views and accessible trails. Perfect for running, a quick hike, or some quality time for canine friends!

The trail was fine. It's very wide and there were tons of dogs but there's really no shade at all. Towards the back theres a small offshoot that leads to a river bank but it's not really part of the trail. If your dog is ok in dog parks this trail is great. There's a fenced in area for dogs next to one of the parking areas.

This is a short easy hike in Napa, that gets you enough elevation so see out into the valley. There is a free paved parking lot at the start. There are many alternative routes. This is definitely a local favorite.

Not my favorite place to go but if you have a dog it's a great place to take him or her. You can get a decent work out in if you repeat a few hills. Not many trees and all he grass is pretty much dead.

Pretty good for a quick one--have to repeat some hills if you really want a workout. BUT, if you don't love dogs, get ready for the proliferating smell of dog poop. Yeah, leash requirement grossly ignored in non-dog areas. Be nice if the dogs could stay to their side or owners keep them on leash so they can see what gifts their poops leave.

I absolutely love this hiking on this trail. It is nestled between two wineries, beautiful mountains with great views of the city of napa/yountville :) This park has a fenced area for dogs to play in as well as dog/non-dog trails.
