Alcatraz features some of the bays best vista points, with views of mountains, bridges, ships, and skylines. The most spectacular views can be seen from the Agave Trail, open October through February, when the birds are not nesting.

Of the walking trails on Alcatraz this isn't exactly the most exciting but seeing as the island is so small you can easily explore all the trails with no issue.
