Easy climb, with a few short side trails. Interesting boulder formations and scenery along the way.

Still has nice patches of snow even now (70 degrees outside). Trail is short and as mentioned doesn’t have great views but have some nice boulders to climb on for kids. With the snow it was great, if there was none, it wouldn’t be that exciting

The trail is approximately 70% covered in snow. With good boots your feet will stay dry, but definitely no shoes on this trail.

April 1st - this trail is mostly covered by snow, sometimes higher than ones ankle, even the temperature was about 60 degrees. Beautiful views, but difficult to walk on the snow. Better wait until mid-April

Fun little hike. True as most reviews, views are hard to come by up top. The summit block (and register) are on the far (east) side of the broad, flat summit plateau from where you ascend. Look for a bunch of rock outcrops. The views along the short hike are good for Mt Waterman ski area as well as Krakta Ridge. Otherwise, just nice shade, trees, smells and, oddly enough, solitude.

This trail has limited views but a massive amount of blooming lupine at this time of year. On certain sections of the trail you have to step carefully to avoid stepping on the wildflowers. The top of the peak is fairly flat with large sections of open space. Except to be able to claim that you summited this peak, there doesn’t seem to be much of a reason to take this trail. There are better trails close by.

2nd hike of the day after the Winston Loop trail and my first time on this trail. Fairly easy hike on Jeep road then single track with a gradual climb to the summit. There’s not many views from this peak as it is heavily forested, but there are a couple. After a short break I decided to explore around this broad peak walking off trail and following game trails, I believe it would be possible to connect to the Burkhart trail for a longer loop hike. Off for hike 3.

Easy hike if you’re in the area and need to get one of the peaks done on the Hundred Peaks Section list. Easy to follow. Trees obscure the view at the summit but there are near rock formations.

A very short but enjoyable hike. Combine this with another trail nearby and it's worth it.
