I would not suggest this “trail” if your a avid or even average hiker. About 1/2 mile in you’ll have to cross the creek and after that the trail is non existent. It was very disappointing.

Lots of river rocks that seem like good ankle-breakers. Pretty and scenic, but no real good views of the canyon from a high perch. May go again, but probably not. No access to Adobe Falls either.

Provided I started at the right location, this trail was HORRIBLE! It was mostly small rocks and later turned into a huge briar patch

Flat for trail running but at times it is deep soft sand and then loose pebbles/stones that are not good for running on. Followed all the way to the running water but it was stagnant and smelly on October 5th, 2018. Won't do this one again but I marked it off my list.

Hidden and dirty but if you go to SDSU you kind of have to check it out (once and only once..)

Great little spot. Watch out for the evil lady.

Not a trail so much as a rocky gravel and dirt service road for sewer and power lines, this route offers solitude, interesting vegetation, good bird and wildlife watching, and a seasonal stream that runs near, next to, or possibly on the "trail." Unfortunately, the route is eroded and unpleasantly rocky, washed out, or muddy after recent rains. It also runs past sewer mains and under power lines, both of which are an eyesore. The upper route of the lollipop loop had beautiful wildflowers when I hiked it in late March, but sadly the upper route is overgrown to the point of being uncomfortable. So while this route offers several interesting and possibly beautiful scenes, I can't give it more than 3 stars considering its significant issues.
