Great little trail once you get past the swagy beginning. I was forced to do this in flip flops. Great adventure though. We went all the way out to Pedro Point. Added a bit to the trail but way worth going out there a bit farther.
Nice easy/moderate hike. Short with great views (when not fogged over). I'd come back and recommend to others.
Absolutely beautiful. Part of the hike is above the clouds line, so even on a hazy day there are great views. Some steep parts can get muddy and slippery if it recently rained.
Beautiful views. You can hear the road for a brief part of the hike, I didn't mind. I went counterclockwise, great workout for me. Wonderful way to start of 2021!
Great hike. Don’t park at the Hardware store, but there is street parking. The beginning is confusing as it’s along the highway, but within 3 min you are in the eucalyptus grove and on your way to an excellent hike with varied terrain and breathtaking views of the coast. Dog friendly and not too crowded.
Really nice hike with pretty views. You can hear the highway at some points which is not ideal, but it didn’t really impact the quality of the hike.
I absolutely love this trail. One of my favorites in Pacifica. It is not too difficult, and there are many options of paths to take depending on whether you’re looking for a shorter or longer hike. The views are breathtaking; you definitely get an “on top of the world” feeling when you reach the top. Lots of wildlife (I frequently see bunnies!). Great to do with friends or by yourself. I especially love hiking this trail at sunset. Never too crowded either. Someone recently built a labyrinth along the trail, too, which is a great place to stop to catch your breath and get in touch with yourself.
It was a great short moderate hike. I did it in the morning just before the sun came up on Dec 4th. It was breathtaking.
